The international online classified advertising business is organized in a separate company, Schibsted Classified Media (SCM). A world leader in online classifieds, SCM has market leading operations in many countries and was recently ranked as #3 globally just behind eBay and Craigslist. 



Belgian people know our classified site by the name Kapaza.be and it has quickly grown into one of the largest sites people want to buy and sell online in Belgium.

Product Manager (junior)

The objective of the product team is to increase the engagement of our users together with the online presence of Kapaza.be in Flanders and Wallonia. You will assist 2 product managers in their role to drive the product development and manage smooth roll-out of any product evolution.

Key responsibilities

- Define product development and manage projects from end-to-end. (new services, new functionalities, UEX)
- Deliver product requirements to technical team in user tests and acceptance tests.
- Manage test-flow of any product evolution before going live to site.
- Closely follow KPI’s and user engagement indicators.
- Analyze user feedback and measure specific conversions.
- Create, drive and follow user acquisition campaigns and user retention campaigns. (online mkt, email communication)
- Perform market analysis and benchmark competitors.

Knowledge and experience

- 1 - 3 years product management experience in a similar position or e-business for an online player.
- Understanding of onsite consumer behaviour.
- Pro-active, dynamic, efficient, precise, organized, big picture vision.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
- Ability to translate ideas into mock-ups.
- Ideally with an interest in the classifieds world.
- Academic degree or business school.
- Bilingual Flemish / French and fluent English.

You are data-driven and have an analytical mindset. While enjoying a fast paced, entrepreneurial work setting, you are also well-organized, deadline-driven. You find it second nature to navigate in the chaos that is a fast growing, constantly changing technology-based company.
