RESPONSIBILITIES:

• In-depth knowledge and a genuine interest in social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Linkedin, Pinterest, Instagram etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios.

• Plan and implement social media strategies, coordinate social media projects, ensure their effectiveness and report upon completion. Sharing your experience with the team on how to better perform these tasks.

• Management of social ads campaigns and their day-to-day optimisation.

• Community management: o Coordinate and develop community management projects.

• Social media and brand monitoring using available monitoring/social listening tools.

• You are the go-to person for all social media advice and liaise with other departments.

• Represent the social voice of OMD Belgium and fulfill client facing challenges.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Social ad campaign management experience. In-depth knowledge of Facebook, Linked-In and Twitter advertising tools.

• Community management experience.

• 3 years of experience in the social media field.

• Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format alongside presentation skills.

• Ability to work with Pivot tables in Excel and create a coherent presentation in PowerPoint.

• Basic knowledge of principles of SEO, RTB, GDN, Search and Mobile are desirable

• People management skills are a necessity, team management experience is a plus. • Keen analytical mindset and a love for numbers

• Strong project management and organizational skills

• You need to be a team player, with the confidence to take the lead on social projects with both clients and colleagues.

• Good technical understanding and the ability to pick up new tools quickly is required.

• You need to communicate effectively with the team in all 3 languages and be proficient written and verbally in your native language (NL/FR) + English.
