IKEA, from brick and mortar to omnichannel retailing

From the launch of IKEA ecommerce channel to the integration within the overall social strategy, we will show some tactics we have put in place to drive awareness and conversion on the platform.


Elliot joined Ogilvy Social Lab in the early months of 2016. He started as a campaign manager, launching and optimizing campaigns for various clients such as IKEA, before moving to a social media strategist role in 2018. A strategist’s role is to translate business objectives into social media objectives. Elliot has been partnering IKEA for the past 3 years and has a deep understanding and knowledge of the client’s do’s and don’ts. Together with his team, they developed a go to market strategy for the launch of IKEA’s ecommerce, and to this day, promote and drive sales for them on an ongoing basis.
