Guy Brits is a biochemistry engineer with an additional master degree in safety. Before he started in the pharmaceutical industry he worked at the VUB with a focus on the production of radionuclides and research on NMR contrast agents. He worked for several leading pharmaceutical companies like Bayer, Novartis and Pfizer in different marketing and sales functions. He joined Teva where he combined marketing & portfolio and business development functions. He joined Apotex as general manager in 2013 and transformed the company to a challenger in the generic industry.
