Geert graduated in 1999 as commercial engineer. After starting his career as consultant (at Accenture and 'Smartizens.com'), he joined Janssen-Cilag (J&J group) as CRM manager for the EMEA region, where he collaborated with several countries and managed a series of projects regarding the adoption of e-Business, CRM and Customer Segmentation. Among others, Geert led a project to consolidate all European company websites on one European platform, linked to Janssen’s CRM system (Siebel).   In 2005, he left Janssen for creating, together with a partner, IM Associates, where he managed the department of consultants responsible for Sales Force Effectiveness projects.  Since 2014, Geert leads Cropland, a Big Data company, which is a blended team of business consultants and data scientists.
