From communication to physicians to communication to patients. How needs from physicians evolve towards a greater need for useful and actionable information.

Starting from market research data on the professional online behavior about Central and Eastern European physicians,  Gabor will explain how (informational and educational) needs from physicians is gradually shifting towards medical information, coming from digital channels, and that could help him in his practice. Although there is still a way to go, doctors are now welcoming information helping their patients. Leveraging his large experience, Gabor will illustrate his speech with some communication cases that clearly go beyond promotion. Among others, he will rapidly present a successful e-detailing projects (case study), and will go into more details about his patient support application called Ladies’ Diary, one the most successful European medical app (case study).


Gábor founded Szinapszis with his partners in 1998, a company that is specialised in pharmaceutical and healthcare market research covering the whole CEE region. He is co-owner and co-founder of 9 companies forming the Quercus Consulting Group, delivering healthcare and pharmaceutical digital marketing solutions for the Hungarian and the Central European market since 2006.

He has a degree in political sciences and he is a university guest lecturer.

As a consultant, Gabor has lead several workshops and trainings for pharma clients since 2010, with a special focus on digital strategy, online communication, digital solutions and mHealth applications. Main areas of interest and consulting are improvement of the costumer experience / journey and the digital transformation process of the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector.
